‘Secrets, Stars and Aero Bars’– Magicath, FanFiction, Fangirl
Author: Rainbow Rowell
The best way to come out of a slump is reading romantic and fluffy novels. I love this genre and it is the best to cure your slump or to feel good. We know we all are hopeless romantics inside. But it is difficult to choose that one book from so many choices. That’s why I’ve done this article for you Fangirl (Book Review). Here is the review of Fangirl (Book Review) to help you choose wisely.
This book follows Cath. Cath has a twin sister Wren. Cath and Wren are a classic twin duo. Cath is an introvert and Wren is a rebel. Cath loves writing fan fiction and her alter ego is Magicath. Magicath is a really famous fan fiction writer. She is crazy about Snow and Baz and they are a constant in her life.
Cath lives writing and hate meeting people. The way her character builds through the book is amazing. She and Wren moves to college and Wren decided to start a new life. Wren wanted to get a different roommate and that left Cath with strangers.
Reagan is Cath’s roommate and she is a really unique character. She is blunt and just amazing. She likes things her way and is open about it.
Cath and Reagan become friends throughout the journey.
My favourite is Levi. He is Reagan’s ex-boyfriend. Levi is a perfect guy. He smiles at everyone and he is witty. He is a very responsible and sweet guy. He and Cath fall in love and it is so precious.
The family aspect is so heart touching. It makes it more real and beautiful. Cath has a flawed family but still a perfect one. Her dad is messed up and so are the twins. In the ends all that matters is their small world.
Overall, this book is simply beautiful. It is a relatable and heart touching story. The flow of the book is amazing. It took me time to read this book and that was only because of I was in a slump. When I really picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. I finished the book in 2 days, and was really invested.
I am glad I asked you guys to pick a read for me. This book has been sitting on my self from ages, and I am glad I’ve read it. This is a really fluffy and bright book. Cath’s life in university is so damn relatable. I associate myself with her the most.
The language is simple and story is crazy good.
The cover of this special edition is beautiful.
It has fan art on the end pages, and it’s crazy beautiful.
I rated this book a 5/5 🌟 and is highly recommended.
